MOSCOW, Aug 2 (PRIME) – The Russian metals companies have lost U.S. $50 billion from the metal export duties as of Monday, billionaire Oleg Deripaska said in his Telegram channel.

"China stepped on a risky path by experimenting with an economy which was not very market-oriented. It cost them $1.5 trillion. We have lost $50 billion so far with appropriation of investment resources from the tmetal companies," Deripaska said.

Russia imposed metal export duties on August 1 to stabilize the domestic prices after a global price increase.
